SketchUp Ogre plugin mod for Neoaxis

Its been a busy week here at Anjin. We’ve really got down with the Neoaxis Game System. As part of our trials we modded the SketchUp Ogre plugin (by Fabrizio Nunnari) to work with the Neoaxis highmaterial files so its all plug ‘n play. We like to give back to the community so here is the modded file: ogre_export_1_2_0b9.rb

To use this you need to change Fabrizios config file to use the Neoaxis Data directory as the base location.

To export:

1. Create the appropriate directory in the Neoaxis Resource Editor for example Types\StaticObjects\House (House is the created Directory)

2. Export in the usual way but type the filename and then the path from the base. For example: House, then Types\StaticObjects\House

No doubt it could be simpler, so mod the script please :-) . It works very well for me, even importing some extremely complex models. Probably best to use to 1-5 meg models to be safe, this will give reasonable FPS.
